The story behind inspaire

I've spent 15 years in learning and development, and the same bottleneck showed up everywhere I worked.

In smaller companies, the person who knew the subject best got asked to build the training. They had deep expertise but no background in how people actually learn. In larger organizations, instructional designers existed, but they depended on subject matter experts who were busy, hard to schedule, and unfamiliar with the design process. Either way, the knowledge was there. What was missing was a way to turn it into learning that works, without it taking months or falling apart in translation.

The tools didn't solve this. Authoring platforms assumed you were already an instructional designer. AI generators could produce content fast, but with no learning methodology underneath.

We started inspaire with a simple belief: learning science should not be a barrier to building great training. It should be built into the process.

So that's what we built. inspaire guides you through a proven design process with AI handling the methodology: structuring content, sequencing it for retention, building assessments that measure real understanding. You bring the expertise. The pedagogy is already there.

We're a small team based in Utrecht, Netherlands, with deep roots in L&D, product design, and engineering. We're building this because the next generation of training won't come from bigger departments. It will come from the experts themselves, given the right tools to share what they know.
